National Democratic Congress (NDC) Parliamentary Candidate for the Weija-Gbawe constituency and Founder of the Obuobia Foundation, Ms. Obuobia Darko-Opoku has been adjudged winner of the L.E.A.D Series Merit Awards for the Month of October 2017 after weeks of public voting.

L.E.A.D Series Merits awards is a monthly award scheme to recognize and acknowledge individuals or companies whose individual activity in various areas of expertise have inspired the society positively within the month under review.

Ms Darko-Opoku’s ‘Pause for Three Minutes’ motivational works which encourages and motivates to help people get the best out of every given situation, has an overwhelming votes as it surpasses other nominees such as Becca’s 10th anniversary concert, Dj Mic Smith’s 10th anniversary concert, Ophelia Crossland, only African and first Ghanaian to showcase at the 2017 Swarovski Sparkling Couture Infinity Exhibition in Dubai and Rappers, Ko-Jo Cue and Shaker headlining Pen & Paper concert.

RESULTS

Ms. Obuobia Darko-Opoku (Pause for Three Minutes) – 230 Votes (48.02%)

Becca (10years Celebration Concert) – 129 Votes (26.93%)

Kojo Cue & Lil Shaker (Pen & Paper Album/Concert) – 64 Votes (13.36%)

Ophelia Crossland (Swarovski Infinity Expo) – 44 Votes (9.19%)

Dj Mic Smith (10years Celebration Concert) – 12 Votes (2.51%)
